About the play...
Music connects the love stories of two inter-racial couples who grew up a generation apart. This play follows the compelling story of 30-something jazz singer Soph, an impetuous woman who grew up decades after the Civil Rights movement of the ‘60s and yet still struggles in her relationship with the brilliant and enigmatic Math. The story builds to a crescendo when Soph learns of a surprising romantic liason in her father’s past and realizes that in order to move forward, she must finally come face to face with the father she never knew.
